Data Recovery Nightmare
I had a big problem not too long ago when my hard drive started to go. My friends had all told me that I should get an external hard drive in case I need to recover some data ie if my hard drive crashes. Well, I said ya ya ya but never did anything about it and the next thing you know my hard drive goes on me. Now I had a lot of important stuff on that hard drive as I’m sure you do on yours and I’m totally screwed. Hard drive data recovery is still a learning process for me as I haven’t learned that much yet in school but I am learning it. My computer started to show signs of hard drive failure and I should have gotten an external hard drive data recovery thing right away but didn’t. I had tons of software on the old hard drive and who knows if I’ll be able to replace it all with out paying for it again. So I’m going to check out some external hard drive data recovery systems and see what there is out there. Crazy thing is a good friend of mine actually does back up all his files on an external hard drive data recovery system but even that got messed up! He actually mishandled it and fumbled it to the ground when showing it to me. Poor old boy. He stuck it back in and his computer couldn’t read it at all. So what the heck am I to do? Have two external hard drive data recovery software systems in place just in case one of them fails? So when we went to check out the prices for hard drive data recovery services it was pretty expensive! You better be ready to pay upto a grand or so to recover the data from the hard drive. If you know what you are doing or are learning what to do then you can probably recover most of the data lost on your hard drive yourself. But to play it safe the first thing I’m going to do is by an external hard drive so I can avoid the whole data recovery process which I’m learning but it’s a pain in the ass. So this is my first lesson in how important and external hard drive data recovey back up plan is! Shit does indeed happen.
